  • Massey Ventures Limited, the commercialisation vehicle for Massey University (with campuses in Albany, Palmerston North and Wellington) and the parent company of the E-Centre incubator
  • Chairperson of the Board of Trustees for Hauraki Primary School
  • Board of Auckland Tennis (host of NZ’s ATP and WTA international tournaments)
  • Board of the New Zealand Private Equity and Venture Capital Association (only lawyer on the board for many years)

University Education

  • Auckland University- 1981-1985 (for Bachelor degrees), Masters completed later in 1996
  • University achievements included completing conjoint Bachelor degrees in Commerce and Law; a Masters of Commercial Laws (First Class Honours); being awarded the Senior Prize in Management Studies and representing the Auckland University U21 rugby side for three years

  • School achievements included: University “A” Bursary; School Prefect; Scholars Tie; Ist XV Rugby and Ist XI Cricket; House Captain for rugby, cricket, cross-country (also represented Australian Capital Territory at age group level for rugby)
